MAMATCAL, a portmanteau of 'Mama' and the Hebrew term 'Mat'Cal' (General Staff), stands as a testament to our unwavering support for the spouses and families of Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during their active duty. Founded with the endorsement of the esteemed First Lady of Israel Michal Herzog, MAMATCAL is more than an organization - it's a sanctuary for those who stand strong at home while their loved ones safeguard the nation.
Why MAMATCAL Matters
Imagine a community where every member speaks the language of resilience, where shared experiences forge unbreakable bonds. This is the essence of MAMATCAL. Across Israel, our local support communities are the heartbeat of this endeavor, providing emotional support to over 25000 families of reserve. These are the silent heroes, the families that bear the unique burdens of defense and security.
We have returned to combat
with our husbands on the front lines and the women at home.
The situation for the reservists' families is extremely challenging. Over the past two months and the ceasefire pointed a shift to some how back routine life, we have been working on the recovery and support of the reservists' wives to prepare for five years of complex routines, during which each husband will serve at least 70 days.
As we tend to our wounds, the ceasefire has ended, and our husbands have been called back with emergency orders. Once again, the storm intensifies on the 165,000 families in Israel that serve the country
Passover in Mamatcal Communities
The burden is unbearable-from the cleaning preparations to the shopping and cooking, which constantly remind us of Dad being away this Seder.
Please support the reservists' wives so that we can organize assistance with preparations and local community Passover Seder meals, provide encouraging holiday gifts, arrange for more retreats to recharge resilience, and plan activities within the reservists' wives' communities.
We cannot leave them and their children to face this struggle alone. We welcome any support you can provide.

Gali IDF's mobile broadcast arrives to milatery bases around the contry. durring an online brodcust - Naomi Rabia, the known voice bhinde the radio show, talks with spouses, children and parents and soldiers on the show. durring Hanoka holiday we ware honnerd to houst the show in a special mamatcal awarnce brodcust, for the spauses of reservist soldier.
